Akrasia was founded in 2025 as a means to publish my creative endeavours. For now, the main focus is on men's rings as well as unisex jewellery. As each piece scales with the respective ring sizes, they can be either large statement pieces or smaller eye catchers.
Akrasia means weakness of will. To me, it describes indulging in desires. It is meant to evoke the sublime, the intense feeling of being overtaken by joyous art.
Akrasia is the platform through which all art that carries meaning for me is brought into the world. For now, jewellery. Hopefully soon, fragrances and poetry. After that?

Every element of the Akrasia mark is drawn from alchemy and the esoteric tradition. Together they form one figure; apart, each holds a single idea.

Unlike the classic six‑pointed star, the unicursal hexagram is traced in a single unbroken stroke. In Thelema it stands for the union of macrocosm and microcosm: the greater world and the self, joined by one continuous act of will.
One figure, drawn without lifting the hand.
The hexagram is built from two interlocking triangles, the oldest signs in alchemy. Rising, the triangle is fire; falling, it is water. Crossed by the line of its opposite, fire becomes air and water becomes earth. The sum of the world, or the philosopher’s stone. It is the essence of all.
In alchemy the crescent is the sign of silver: luna, the moon’s metal, the pale mirror to the sun’s gold. In the wheel of the year it stands for the solstice, the turning of the longest night, when the dark reaches its fullest and the light begins its slow return.

Four marks move outward from the eye, tracing the arms of the sun cross, one of the oldest solar signs. Where the crescent holds the solstice, the cross holds the equinox: the two moments of perfect balance, when day and night stand equal and the wheel of the year turns.
Sol · gold · the equinox.
At the center of the mark sits the all‑seeing eye. The doors of perception. Once they are open, everything will appear to man as it truly is – infinite. From this central mark the world begins; it is the soul within.
